First week back after our break and you’ve done some great drawings to kick off the new term. This week’s theme was “Breakfast” but what we were really looking at was ellipses, shading, tones and how images (on the cereal box) become distorted when turned at an angle. This was a great exercise in observation and drawing what you can see in front of you and you all did brilliantly. A fantastic start to the new course and I can’t wait to see what else you can do!
You can all give yourselves a pat on the back this week too as 10% of your course fees have been donated to St Gemma’s Hopice in Leeds who provide palliative care. Together you’ve raised £90. So not only have you done some fantastic drawings you’ve also helped others when they need it most – so that’s two things to feel good about!
