The Leeds Art Group term has already started and it’s been great to see so many people in class enjoying art. I think you’ve all made a great start on the courses and I’m going to enjoy watching you improve over the next few weeks. Here are a few photos from the first lesson in our brand new Beginners Watercolour Painting class. Hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did.
This terms courses are filling up fast but there are a few places still left. So please get in touch if you would like to join one of the courses.

Great news! For one week only, Wednesday 25th June 10am – 12pm at Headingly Parish Hall, we have a model to pose for us so we can practise drawing the human figure. If you haven’t been for a while you might want to take advantage of this opportunity as models are hard to find and who knows when we’ll get another! Hi everyone, as it’s half term next week a few of you asked me if the drop in class will still be going ahead for Wednesday May 28th. So I’m just confirming that it will definitely go ahead as usual. Hope to see you all there!

From Wednesday May 14th Leeds Art Group will be meeting every Wednesday 10am – 12pm at Headingley Parish Hall, St Michael’s Road, Headingley, Leeds, LS6 3AW.
Everyone is welcome. You don’t need to be a member of Leeds Art Group and you don’t need any drawing experience.
If you enjoy drawing and would like to join like minded people, in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, please come along to one of our sessions.
Basic materials are provided along with subjects to draw but you are welcome to bring your own materials/objects. Everyone can work at their own pace and the tutor Wendy is on hand throughout for advice.
Price: £7 per session (no need to book in advance)
Free tea, coffee and biscuits are provided and occasionally cake if you’re lucky!
