Hi folks

This week things got a bit trickier with more challenging tasks.  The Beginners Portraiture Course Level 2 looked at the areas of light and shade on faces and how you can use this to create a portrait using just black and white.  The Beginners Drawing Course Level 1 drew manmade forms, a bit more difficult than last weeks natural forms and less room for error.  Well done for tackling these exercises.  More challenges next week.

I am pleased to announce that the Leeds Art Group Exhibition will be taking place on Friday 27th and Saturday 28th July between 10am and 4pm (both days).  Entry will be free and there will be a number of stalls selling refreshments, books, bric-a-brac/gifts etc.  There will also be original artwork for sale.

It’s about time we all had a chance to show off our work so I hope all Leeds Art Group members will take part.  If you would like to submit a piece of work or have any questions, please contact me at leedsartgroup@yahoo.co.uk and I will send you all the details.
